Does it hurt?
IPL feels like a quick, warm snap. We apply numbing cream before Frax 1550.
Is there downtime?
Most people go back to their day straight after. Skin looks pink and can swell for a few days, then feels rough or looks slightly bronzed as it renews. Redness can look slightly worse and sun spots darken before they fade. For the first week, wear SPF 30+ daily, stay out of direct sun, and pause actives like retinol, exfoliating acids and vitamin C. We’ll tell you when to restart them.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on your skin. We confirm your plan at the consultation.
